Respite Care

The Shire provides a range of services designed to support, frail, older people and people with a disability and their carers to stay active and independent and living at home.

Respite care aims to support carers of older people and people of any age with a disability, including young children with a physical, intellectual or sensory disability. Community Care Workers assist carers to participate in family, social, recreational, personal or community activities. Personal care requirements can be provided during respite visits.
