Contact the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to check if you are NDIS eligible. The Brotherhood of St Laurence is the local partner agency on the Mornington Peninsula who can provide support and access to the NDIS.

Residents who are 65 years of age and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are 50 years of age and over:

My Aged Care is the Federal Governments centralised intake system for any new aged care services. Residents will be required to register with My Aged Care before contacting the Shire. Once registered with My Aged Care, a referral will be forwarded to the local Regional Assessment Service (RAS). When the referral is received the RAS will contact you to organise an in-home assessment.

Fees

Fees are determined in accordance with State and Commonwealth Government Fees Policies which require that clients declare their income level and any extraordinary expenses so that appropriate fees can be set. Should your circumstances change, fees can be renegotiated. 

Clients will not be refused service on their inability to pay fees.
