Meals on Wheels
The Shire's Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals to residents who are unable to provide for their personal dietary needs.
How does Meals on Wheels help?
Good nutrition plays a key part in overall health and wellbeing. Every meal is:
- prepared according to the National Meal Guidelines in the Shire's Meals on Wheels Kitchen in Rosebud
- made to meet the daily nutritional needs of older Australians
- delivered by volunteers who also perform a wellbeing check
- provide an opportunity for meaningful connection and staying connected
Wellbeing checks play an important role in health and give families peace-of-mind.
