Keeping Active, Involved and Informed

Keeping Active Directory.jpg

A directory of physical activity groups and other information for older people

Please note that the Directory is produced by Peninsula Health, with support from the Mornington Peninsula Shire and Frankston City Councils. Due to COVID-19 lockdowns and staff being redirected to the 'surge workforce', an updated edition has been delayed.

The 2019-2020 Keeping Active, Involved and Informed Directory is still available and, although some details may be out of date, still provides a comprehensive list of local activities and organisations for older people.

This free directory not only lists over 200 physical activity, social and community groups that are available in Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, but also contains other important information and contact details that may be of interest to older residents and visitors.

The directory has been divided into regions to help you find groups and activities that are close to you.  Each region then lists:

  • Physical activity groups
  • Community centres
  • Clubs and groups

Each listing in the directory endeavours to include the activity cost, times and a description of the activity or group.

To get a hard copy of the directory posted out to you please phone 03 5976 9071 or email the Peninsula Health Agestrong Coordinator.

To view the directory online visit the Peninsula Health Agestrong page.

We are currently working to update the information in this directory. If you have a new group to be added to the directory, or to change the details of an existing activity or group, please contact the Agestrong Coordinator using the details above.

When Peninsula Health is notified of a change of details they will update the information on their website, and in the new digital and printed directory.
