International Women's Day 2023
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The 2023 theme is #EmbraceEquity. We can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias and seek out inclusion.
The Shire in partnership with Mornington Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating IWD by showcasing female musicians, children’s entertainment and a live radio broadcast from 3MP along Main Street Mornington on Wednesday 8 March between 10am and 1pm.
We will also showcase and celebrate women-owned businesses and businesses supporting local women and girls on International Women’s Day right across the Mornington Peninsula.
