Venues for Hire:

The Briars Barn is a beautiful heritage barn suitable for weddings, celebrations and other functions. Set among the Heritage Precinct with beautiful westward (sunset) views across the fields and forest the Barn is perfect for those seeking a rustic venue.

The Historic Homestead Garden is perfect for wedding ceremonies, memorials and other events. Lush lawn areas set among formal gardens, with views across the fields, the Garden is a beautiful and memorable venue.

A number of lawns are available for hire for functions and events, including wedding ceremonies, celebrations, birthdays and larger events.

The Briars Theatrette is available for meetings, workshops and education sessions.

Josephine's Restaurant

Josephine’s Restaurant is a privately operated business located at The Briars. Josephine’s offers a fine dining experience for any occasion accompanied by delightful views overlooking the historic homestead, gardens and farmland of The Briars. Angus and Rose

Angus & Rose is a privately run business located at The Briars.  

Angus & Rose provides a space for the ‘Little Gardeners Club’, workshops for all ages, including school holiday workshops and a place to purchase a coffee. Bookings are available over the weekend for private functions and kids birthday parties.You can also enjoy a walk through the 2-hectare landscaped rose garden showcasing David Austin roses and old-world roses, annuals and perennials.
