Briars Aboriginal Cultural Walk with Yidaki
Celebrate the start of NAIDOC with a beautiful walk with Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung man Lionel Lauch (Living Culture). This walk will empower, educate, engage and connect you in the land and moment.

Briars Junior Ranger Wild Art
Join our Rangers as we explore the dramatic winter landscape in the Briars Wildlife Sanctuary, discovering natural materials that can be transformed into nature art.
Suitable for 6 - 10-year-old
30 June & 7 July | 10am - 12noon
$22 per child
Adults grab a coffee and relax as this is a child - only program.
Briars After-Dark Wildlife Walk
Search for sugar gliders, kangaroos, wallabies and other Australian animals as they wake up after dark.
3 & 9 July | 7—8.30pm
$25 adult, $19 concession / child
Children must be supervised by an adult

Walk - Mt Martha to the Briars

Picnics and BBQ's
There are plenty of beautiful lawn and garden spaces for you to enjoy a picnic in the outdoors. The BBQ and picnic areas are also open to the public.
The Shire Nursery is open! The team are also offering an "order and pick up" service. Give the Nursery a call to discuss your plants need, place an order and pay over the phone.

Heritage Gardens and Farm
Immerse yourself in the past as you wander through the grounds of the Heritage Homestead. Beautiful formal gardens create lovely walks and picnic areas. Head into the Heritage Seed Garden to discover heritage varieties of vegetables! Say hello to the heritage pigs and chickens.
