Nestled amongst the coastal village of Mt Martha lies the Balcombe Estuary Reserves. This 53 hectare reserve is rich in biodiversity and offers the 3.5 kilometres of walking tracks and boardwalk that meander alongside Balcombe Creek, extending from the coast through to the Nepean Highway and on to The Briars.
Main access point: carpark at the end of Mirang Avenue.
Other access points: small carpark off Uralla Road, near the Nepean Highway. Numerous other access points for pedestrians via local streets.
Dogs: dogs on lead permitted. There are also designated leash-free areas in this reserve. To find out more visit our page on leash-free and dog prohibited areas.

We sought the communities views on how to best protect the Balcombe Estuary Reserves and received an overwhelming response. We are now collating that data and finalising the study.
