Community exhibition spaces

The Mornington Peninsula Shire provides two prominent community exhibition spaces where local artists can display their artworks at no cost.

Through this program we promote awareness and appreciation of our creatives as well as making these spaces more stimulating and engaging for the general public.

Individual and group exhibition applications are invited from local artists producing two-dimensional artworks.

Foyer Exhibition Space - Mornington Library

The Mornington Library Foyer space located in Vancouver Street, Mornington, attracts over 3000 visitors per week and comprises three walls with ten running metres of hanging space. Each exhibition block runs for approximately 8 weeks.

Exhibition Space - Rosebud Council Chamber

The Rosebud Council Chamber space located at Besgrove Street, Rosebud, offers one substantial wall of approximately 12 running metres of hanging space. This is best suited for displaying larger framed works. Each exhibition block runs for approximately 12 weeks.

We are currently not accepting applications for our Community Exhibition applications. Expressions of interest will re-open in September 2019.
