Communities That Care Action Plan
The Shire is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people across our community.
The Communities That Care (CTC) Action Plan has been developed with the community to select the most appropriate evidence-based programs to roll-out over the next three years.
This is an exciting step forward for CTC and the Mornington Peninsula community as we continue to pioneer and lead the CTC Program on the Peninsula.
Development of the Plan has been supported by young people, local community members and local service organisations. They have contributed by selecting the most appropriate evidence-based programs for the chosen:
- protective factor “opportunities for pro social involvement” and the
- risk factor, “family conflict".
We would like to particularly acknowledge the CTC Advisory Committee for giving generously of their time, knowledge and skills.
We believe in developing strong partnerships to work as a team to promote the healthy development of our children, young people and community. If you are interested in partnering with CTC we are keen to hear from you. Current partners who are involved in the community action plan include:
