Peninsula Tales: a year of stories, connections and community
2024 was a year of unforgettable stories on the Peninsula – and we captured so many of them!
From heartfelt moments to inspiring events, Peninsula Tales brought our community closer, one story at a time.
We laughed. We learned. We connected.
Whether it was transforming parking spots into interactive art at Parking Day, helping budding farmers get experience in the industry through the Gateway to Small Scale Farming Training Pilot Program, or experiencing the best of Peninsula produce at the Little Food Market – these stories highlighted what makes our community so unique.
We celebrated culture and creativity.
We hit the road for history with the Heritage Bus Tour, honoured community spirit with the R U OK Mural, and made music come alive at Make Music Matter – proof there’s always something happening on the Peninsula.
We supported each other.
From coming together to support change during Homelessness Week, to saying goodbye to our beloved story time dog Kenzie and nature-inspired fun with grandkids at our Grandparents Supported Playgroup – our stories showed the strength of connection and compassion in our region.
And we’re not done yet!
As we say goodbye to 2024, we’re already gearing up for more stories in 2025.
Expect more heartwarming tales, exciting events, and meaningful moments that make our community shine.
