From 16 December, our Tootgarook and Seawinds Maternal and Child Health Service will move to Yawa Aquatic Centre.

Our Maternal and Child Health service has long been a cornerstone for local parents and carers, and our dedicated team of nurses are looking forward to welcoming their clients in a modern and purpose-built facility.

The new location offers more than just an upgrade in aesthetics—it's a hub of activity designed with families in mind. Parents/carers can now combine their child's health check-ups with a trip to the pool with their little ones, or a coffee at Elements Eatery.

Our nurses, known for their compassionate and expert care, will continue to provide invaluable guidance and support to families, from newborn check-ups until the child is school age.

Clients with future appointments at Tootgarook and Seawinds have been notified of the move. To speak with a Maternal and Child Health Nurse or to book an appointment please contact us on 5950 1099.

Quote attributable to Mayor Councillor Anthony Marsh:

“This move helps to conveniently co-locate our much-loved Maternal and Child Health Service at our family-friendly and modern Yawa Aquatic Centre.”

Quote attributable to Tootgarook Councillor Cam Williams:

"The Maternal and Child Health service is integral to supporting parents/carers and young children. It is a free service for families with children from birth to school age, where our nurses provide support for families with child health, wellbeing and developmental checks and parenting support and advice.”
