Mornington Peninsula Shire Mayor Councillor Despi O’Connor and Councillors today joined Minister for Local Government Shaun Leane and Member for Nepean Chris Brayne at the project site for the highly anticipated Flinders Community Hub.
When was the last time you experienced or explored our local wetlands? Peninsula residents are lucky to live near ground water dependent Tootgarook Wetland in Boneo and Capel Sound and coastal wetlands at Warringine Park in Bittern. These precious areas are home to many bird and animal species.

Beach matting has been rolled out at Mount Martha this summer as part of Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Disability Inclusion Plan, thanks to our partnership with Mount Martha Life Saving Club.
