The long-awaited public toilet at Flinders Park Reserve is now one step closer to becoming a reality. Residents and visitors will be glad to hear we’re now ready to show you the final concept plans.

The public toilet block will include:

  • one unisex accessible/ family change toilet
  • one unisex ambulant toilet
  • rainwater tank
  • cleaner’s / storage room.

In addition to this, in the nearby vicinity we will install:

  • bike rack
  • drinking fountain
  • picnic table
  • bench
  • footpath
  • planting
  • two disabled car parking spaces.

The final plans have been adjusted based on community and stakeholder feedback already received during previous community consultation.

You are invited to view the concept plans on our website or make a request via Customer Service. Questions or comments can be made via our website or hard copy form (available at Customer Service) until 20 December.

Quote attributable to Red Hill Ward Councillor David Gill:
"Thank you to all community members who provided feedback.

“The latest set of plans take into account much of the consultation. l believe that the final design is much improved and reflects the community’s view to protect village character. The works now soften impacts to neighbouring residents through local indigenous planting and screening of the amenity while still allowing oversight of the facility.”
