Webinars support local business recovery

Mornington Peninsula Shire is committed to supporting local businesses during these challenging times and is offering webinars which will assist businesses to rebuild and recover.
The webinars will cover topics including commercialising new business ideas, finance fundamentals, taking businesses online, business marketing and building business resilience.
Webinar details:

  • Commercialising your new idea part one and two – 28 July, 6pm to 9pm and 29 July, 6pm to 8:30pm

Be guided by an experienced innovation and commercialisation practitioner with over 30 years’ experience to build a deeper understanding of the business idea’s potential.

  • Finance Fundamentals – 4 August, 6pm to 8pm

Learn to identify cash flow drivers and how to direct cash into the business areas that that need it most.

  • Taking your business online – 11 August, 6pm to 8pm

Build an understanding of online advertising, search engines, websites, blogs and social media through practical exercises and real-life examples. Learn how to bring them all together into an effective online strategy that matches business objectives.

  • Marketing your business – 18 August, 6pm to 8pm

Make your business stand out from the crowd at this interactive two-hour workshop and build your marketing strategy from the ground up.

  • Building resilience – 25 August, 6pm to 9:30pm

Put in place a practical plan to follow in the event of a business crisis or threat – particularly relevant in these challenging times.
These webinars are just one of the ways the Shire works closely with local businesses to build their capacity and stimulate economic growth.
