Are you currently in the process of retiring and want to start volunteering for your local community? Mornington Peninsula Shire is hosting two workshop sessions in June to give you advice on how you can get involved.

These workshops, presented by Volunteering Victoria, cover an overview of volunteering in Australia, as well as outlining the social and wellbeing benefits of beginning a volunteer role at retirement.

The workshops will guide participants to identify and apply for suitable volunteer roles specific to your area of interest.

Places are open to community members considering joining other Peninsula volunteers in a role that is not only rewarding to you, but also to the broader community.
