Take it easy at our Seniors Festival 2022
Published on 21 September 2022
If you thought your ‘senior years’ would be restful but you’re busier than ever with the grandkids or endless jobs around the home, then we want you to be ‘Takin’ it Easy’ at our Seniors Festival 2022.
Between 1 – 31 October 2022 you can join in a range of free or low-cost events and activities on our Peninsula providing fun and good times throughout the month.
The Victorian Seniors Festival is now in its 40th year, and will host radio plays, interviews, and unique music performances available through its website.
So, cheekily say no to babysitting the grandkids, put that garden rake down and join in some local Seniors Festival events including:
- A hilarious comedy show by Monica Dullard ‘Ageing with Attitude’ at Mornington Park Pavilion.
- A workshop at the Eco Living Display Centre to help you grow fruit and vegetables in small spaces.
- Open days at various community organisations across our Peninsula.
For the first time since 2019 this festival will be live and in person. To plan your festival and to find out more visit: mornpen.vic.gov.au/seniorsfestival
