Save with solar

Published on 07 February 2019

Are your electricity bills sky high? Solar power can slash your power bills and, with current government rebates, there has never been a better time to invest in solar.

Installing solar panels could save you money on electricity bills, reduce your exposure to blackouts and help the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Mornington Peninsula Shire is inviting residents to learn more about choosing a solar system for your home, reducing your carbon footprint and how to cut the cost of installation at a series of FREE workshops.

Each workshop will offer participants the opportunity to learn from an impartial expert about different solar systems, current rebates and how to make sure you’re asking installers the right questions.

There has never been a better time to install solar on your home with the price of solar steadily decreasing and the state government releasing solar rebates, which will result in significantly reduced start-up costs.

To learn more about how to choose a solar system and available rebates, register to attend one of the Shire's information sessions.
