On Monday 28 May, Mornington Peninsula Shire met with around 100 community members to share plans for the facility design, parking, access and layout of a gymnasium, wellness centre, café, access ramps, family change rooms, aquaplay area, 50 metre indoor pool, learn to swim and warm water program pools.
Participants had the opportunity to speak with key project officers and representatives from facility architect Peddle Thorp about design plans for the Besgrove Street facility.
For anyone not able to attend in person, concept plans are now available to view online at :mornpen.vic.gov.au/rosebudaquatic.
Rosebud Aquatic Centre will be designed and constructed over a three-year period, with the aim of opening late 2020.
