Works will begin in November and are estimated to be completed by June 2022.

Quote attributable to Watson Ward Councillor Paul Mercurio:
“In January 2020, we received $742,500 in grant funding through the State Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund towards the $1.48M Somerville Active Recreation Hub project.
“I look forward to seeing our young people and growing families in Somerville and surrounds enjoy this new space. Together with the four-court Somerville Recreation Centre, the Somerville Active Recreation Hub will transform this part of town into a hub of lively activity.”
