Volunteering can provide a sense of purpose and achievement. It can help you feel you are part of the community and help you feel better about yourself. You can share your talent and learn new skills. You can meet new people and experience the joy of being around others.
 
We spoke to garden maintenance volunteers to find out why they love volunteering, what the benefits of volunteering are and why they think more people should consider volunteering.
