Have your say on our Master Plan for RW Stone Reserve

Last May we asked you to give us your feedback about the way you use RW Stone Reserve and what features you would like to see at the new community bike park there.
 
Thank you to everyone who contributed their comments and ideas, this feedback was used to inform our RW Stone Master Plan and Bike Jumps Concept Plan.
 
Some features we want to include are:

• A range of jumps to suit different skills and abilities.
• A path network for easy access to the bike park.
• Modified dog off leash area.

Now we want to know if we got it right. Take a look at our draft Master Plan and Bike Jumps Concept Plan and give us your feedback about the future development of RW Stone Reserve.
 
Council supported the decision to build a dedicated bike park at RW Stone Reserve as during COVID-19 restrictions our young people were building their own jumps in Somers. The project is being funded through our COVID Recovery Actions ($100k) and through other funding channels ($30k) for the planning, design and construction.

We’re working with specialist landscape and park planners @leisure Planners to carefully consider the local environment, neighbourhood and the wider community who use the reserve regularly.
