Mornington Peninsula Shire is calling on the community to provide feedback on plans to replace the existing public toilet facility at Buckley’s Rest in Safety Beach.

Shire Mayor Councillor David Gill said “the facility has reached the end of its useful life and will be upgraded to provide an improved, modern design to service our community for many years to come”.

Seawinds Ward Councillor Simon Brooks said “if you use the facility we’d like to hear your feedback on how it’s used and what features might benefit the community in future”.

Seawinds Ward Councillor Antonella Celi “this stretch of Safety Beach is a popular spot for our locals and visitors. We want to build a new facility that is more modern, easily accessible and will service the community for many years going into the future”

Seawinds Ward Councillor Frank Martin said “the new and improved design will incorporate design elements to respond to ongoing pressures of population growth and climate change”.

The plans will be available to view and provide feedback online until from Monday 13 May until Friday 31 May at mornpen.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay
