The declared Fire Danger Period for the Mornington Peninsula will finish at 1am, Monday 28 March 2022.

A reminder that fire restrictions now revert to the ‘Open Air Burning’ provisions of the local law. This means for properties less than 1,500 square metres in size, burning off is not permitted.

Properties over 1,500 square metres need to register any burn off by calling the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority on 1800 668 511 or visit firepermits.vic.gov.au.
