Step into autumn with us and explore an exciting line up of new sustainability events at our Eco Living Display Centre.

Autumn school holiday workshop 

Thursday 4 April, 10 – 11.30am or 12.30 – 2pm         
$20 per child, $10 for subsequent children/concession
 
Children aged 6 – 12 years can celebrate the beauty of autumn by crafting their own bunnies out of fabric, creating art from natural items found in the Eco Living Display Centre garden and making popcorn.
 

Holistic care of your fruit trees in autumn

Saturday 6 April, 9 – 11am
$23 pp / $10 concession
 
Are you keen to encourage bountiful fruit tree production and growth? This workshop will show you by addressing how to care for your trees, prevent diseases, improve soil health and more.
 

Sustainable House Day – Eco Living Display Centre open day

Sunday 21 April, 12 – 3pm
 
Discover how to create a comfortable and sustainable home. The Eco Living Display Centre is a retrofitted home showcasing a range of sustainable innovations, materials and products. Our volunteers will be available to answer all your questions and give guided tours.
 

Fermenting at home workshop

Saturday 4 May, 1 – 4pm
$35 pp / $22 concession
 
Robin from Mt Martha House Community Garden will guide you through the basics of making your own sauerkraut, fermented seasonal vegetables and jun.
 

Home composting workshop

Friday 10 May, 1 – 3pm
$15 pp / $7 concession
 
Celebrate Compost Week! Have you tried composting at home and have some questions? Come along to this casual workshop to learn about different systems, some common pitfalls and some simple techniques to improve your composting.
