Mornington Peninsula Shire invites applications from skilled and eager workshop facilitators who are looking to support our local businesses in their roadmap to recovery.

The Shire has developed a workshop program to assist micro and small businesses to recover from the impacts of COVID-19. Workshops including taking businesses online, building business resilience, commercialising new business ideas, growth capacity, raising revenue, staff, best business practices and all things to help owners work on their business, instead of in their business.

We’re looking for facilitators who have practical experience both in the workplace and delivering workshops.

Currently all our workshops will be held online and will require facilitators to organise an online forum such as Zoom.

We’ll support you in marketing your workshops on our Shire website, our Mornington Peninsula Business website as well as social media and other outlets outside the Shire networks. We can also take bookings to your workshops through Eventbrite.

The Mornington Peninsula has a diverse local economy including tourism, agriculture, retail, manufacturing, construction, and business services generation $6.3 billion in Gross Regional Product. Our economy is diverse across a range of industry sectors, supporting more than 48,000 jobs.

If you are interested in sharing skills and knowledge to a diverse range of businesses, we would love to hear from you!

Closing date is Friday 23 April 2021
