This public holiday we have a range of community events around our Peninsula to mark Australia Day.

Community events are being held from Mount Eliza to Portsea and everywhere in between. All events aim to deliver a free family day out with live music and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.

We’re pleased to have funded three events through our Community Grants taking place in Dromana, Mount Eliza, and Rosebud. Here’s a taster of each fun free event to help you plan your day:

  • Dromana Pier, 8.30am to 1.30pm
  • Mount Eliza Village Green, 9am to 12.30pm
  • Rosebud Village Green, 9am to 1pm

“I’m looking forward to celebrating Australia Day this year. We hope you enjoy the range of community events we have on offer on this significant day. We hope all events draw in local people and visitors and everyone can join in how they choose.

We also welcome and congratulate the many new Australian Citizens taking their oath on the Mornington Peninsula and across the country.”
