Five playgrounds are scheduled to be upgraded and the details for each location are as follows:

Romney Park, Tootgarook: Installation of a new playground has recently been completed. The new facility will be open to the public once an independent audit of the equipment is completed.  The playground is expected to be opened to the public in early July.

Pine Grove Reserve, Shoreham: The existing playground in Pine Grove has been removed to make way for a new installation. The new equipment will have several nature-play based elements and is expected to be opened to the public in early July.

Jetty Road, Rosebud: Enhancements to the existing playground at Jetty Road in Rosebud have been completed. A disabled-accessible footpath has been installed through the centre of the playground, a shade structure has been installed to provide protection from the sun in the summer months and semi-mature trees have also been planted to enhance the natural shading in the area.

John Butler Reserve, Mount Eliza: A new playground as well as various landscaping elements is planned to be constructed at John Butler Reserve in Mount Eliza. Pending Heritage Victoria approval of the project, works will be tendered early in the 2019/20 financial year.

Bunguyan Reserve, Tyabb: The existing playground at Bunguyan Reserve has been removed to make way for the extension of the nearby changerooms. Works to install a new play equipment have now been completed and are waiting a final independent audit before they are opened to the public. The playground is expected to be opened in early July.
