Stage 3 "Stay at Home" restrictions will be reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. This includes the Mornington Peninsula.
Construction of a new public toilet at Mount Martha south beach is complete and open to the public.
The new facility includes three unisex cubicles (one accessible), all with generous room for changing. A drinking fountain and salt rinse shower have also be delivered with these works.
The form of the new building reflects the iconic beach boxes within the precinct, albeit in a more muted tone to not detract from the natural vegetation context of the location.
