Stage 3 "Stay at Home" restrictions will be reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. This includes the Mornington Peninsula.
Works are planned to be undertaken at the Boundary Road local shopping precinct to improve car parking and pedestrian access to Hillview reserve.
Pavement and kerb works will be undertaken to enable the car park layout to be improved to increase parking capacity. A pedestrian refuge island will also be installed in Boundary Road along with pedestrian path links.
The project has been awarded to Maw Civil Pty Ltd and a works will be commencing mid-November.
Construction is anticipated to be completed in December 2019.
