The public toilet block on Marine Parade opposite Victoria Street has been demolished and new amenities are currently being constructed. The new facility will service the whole foreshore area, which includes the beach, boat ramp, playground and the nearby shopping strip.

The new amenities will include unisex ambulant toilets/change facility, unisex accessible toilets/change facility, and outdoor shower facilities. Additional work will include a footpath, landscaping and street furniture around the toilet block.

The community has been involved through a public exhibition process.
