Mornington: Narambi Reserve Junior Oval

The development of a second oval at Narambi Reserve including additional carparking, came about due to Narambi Reserve being recognised as a high priority in the Sports Capacity Plan. The additional oval will help to ease demand on AFL facilities in the area due to population growth, already high participation in AFL as well as an increase in participation by girls. The oval will also support the growth of local clubs and improve access to the community for opportunities in the sport. The development improves the amenity of the area and will increase informal use of local open space as well.

Construction work on the oval and car park have been completed. Lighting is to be installed in the coming weeks once site conditions are drier.
