Boneo: Boneo Reserve Drainage Improvements

Drainage works are proposed within the Boneo Recreation Reserve to address public safety concerns associated with localised flooding.

It is proposed to pipe stormwater from the existing tennis court car park on the Eastern side of the reserve to discharge to the Western side of the reserve. Works will include the directional drilling to install a new stormwater pipe for approximately 200 metres along with the installation of a small wetland at the discharge location.

Detailed design and the preparation of a cultural heritage management plan is now complete.

The project is expected to be delivered by the end of 2023.
