Blairgowrie: R Penman Reserve Playground Upgrade

The playground at the R Penman Reserve in Blairgowrie was identified as a high priority for upgrade in the 2015-2020 Playspace Strategy.

The concept design came about through consultation with the Blairgowrie Community.

The upgrade works included a new timber combination unit, accessible play equipment, nature play elements and a range of seating and landscaping items throughout the reserve. The project also included upgrades to carparking, with formalised parking constructed at the rear of the Blairgowrie shopping precinct.

Playground works are now complete and being enjoyed by the community, and carpark works finalised, with a new asphalt surface and linemarking provided.
