Stage 3 "Stay at Home" restrictions will be reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. This includes the Mornington Peninsula.
Work at this site is complete.
The Crib Point former landfill located at Lens Reserve is currently managed under a Post Closure Pollution Abatement Notice (PCPAN) issued by EPA Victoria. This regulatory notice required the Mornington Peninsula Shire to complete rehabilitation works on the existing landfill cap to improve surface drainage.
The importation and spreading of clean fill material has been undertaken to regrade the surface to remove depressions and undulations where surface water can pond and potentially impact on the capping layer.
