Stage 3 "Stay at Home" restrictions will be reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. This includes the Mornington Peninsula.
As part of ongoing measures undertaken by the Mornington Peninsula Shire to improve road safety across the Peninsula and in conjunction with the Federal Government’s National Black Spot Program, road safety improvements works have been completed along The Esplanade and Woolleys Road in Crib Point.
The funding for the works was provided by the federal government to address the high number of crashes that have occurred in the area. The works completed include safety barrier installation around the curves as well as road widening on The Esplanade and Woolleys Road between Disney Street and Jacks Beach reserve.
