Our Water Future
As the population across the Peninsula grows, the demand on the supply of urban water is increasing. This is also impacting on our local waterways and creates pressures on the liveability of our neighbourhoods. This is further compounded by climate change. Therefore, it is important we plan for the future of our water on the Peninsula.
We’re revising the Integrated Water Management (IWM) Strategy in partnership with the community, bringing together your ideas, from everyday actions to innovation, to shape your water future.
To start, we’ve developed an IWM discussion paper to address and plan for the future of our water. We recently conducted a survey to seek input from the community, your contribution will help us see the bigger picture and inform the revision of the Shire’s IWM Strategy. Read the discussion paper below.
