Have Your Say: Hastings Sound Shell

We are asking community members to have a conversation on a proposed Sound Shell on the Hastings Foreshore.

The project, driven by the needs and opportunities of several local community groups and key stakeholders, would bring many benefits to the Hastings community to enjoy concerts, community events, theatre and festivities.

Council is excited to be working closely with the community on this collaborative project that will be an excellent asset for the Hastings community.

The Sound Shell would be a permanent and functional stage to cater for the many events held on the Hastings Foreshore.

This is part of Council’s commitment to develop facilities in conjunction with community members to have access to a range of recreation activities in their own backyard.

The consultation opens Monday 21 January 2018 and closes 5pm Friday 22 February.

This is the first round of community consultation. Community members will have additional opportunities to provide their feedback as the project progresses.
