Notice is hereby given, as required by Section 130(2) of the Local Government Act 1989, that the Mornington Peninsula Shire at a Council Meeting held on Tuesday 11 June 2019, adopted the Annual Budget for the financial year beginning 1 July 2019 and ending 30 June 2020.

The Budget document was on exhibition from Thursday 28 March until Friday 26 April 2019.

Written submissions were accepted from any person. All submissions received on or before Friday 26 April 2019 will be considered by Council in accordance with Section 223 of the Act. 

A meeting of the Section 223 Submission Committee of Council was held on Wednesday, 8 May 2019 commencing at 6.30pm, at the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Rosebud Office, 90 Besgrove Street, Rosebud.  People who requested to be heard at the meeting in support of their written submission appeared in person, or had a person appear on their behalf.

Submissions received, including the name of the submitter, may be published on Council’s website and may form part of the public record of relevant Council and Committee meetings. Personal information including phone numbers, email and street addresses will not be disclosed. Any offensive, defamatory or third-party personal information will not be published.
