Election (Caretaker) Period

Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has now entered the Election (Caretaker) Period, until 6pm 26 October (Election Day). During this time, the Election Period Policy will be in effect to ensure that the election is conducted fairly, equitably, and ethically while allowing Council business to continue in a responsible and transparent manner.

'Clean Up' Teams

Mornington Peninsula Shire’s High Visibility Clean Teams provide cleaning services over and above the Shire’s usual practices in popular peninsula holiday spots to provide additional cleaning services over summer.

Services from the High Vis Clean Teams include increased:

Street and footpath sweeping
Bin emptying and cleaning
Toilet cleansing
Litter collection
