All cats and dogs over the age of three months must be microchipped and registered with the Shire. Pet registration is due by 10 April every year. Please register your new pet as soon as possible.
Since May 2007 it has been mandatory for all cats and dogs to be microchipped prior to registration.
We encourage responsible dog owners to have ‘Leash-Free’ fun with their dogs at the Shire's many designated Leash-Free areas located around the Mornington Peninsula.
