Just remember that one data set or map doesn't always tell the full story so you should check other data and build a picture from a range of sources. Always source the data and note if you are looking at enumerated populations or estimated resident populations as there are different base rates. Your story, picture or case, is always more rounded if you also have some qualitative data which might come from consultations, surveys, community meetings, interviews or workshops to support the quantitative data we have here.

Based on data from the 2001 Census of Population and Housing (Australian Bureau of Statistics), each map is prepared using Census Collector Districts providing the finest level of detail to help identify spatial patterns and trends in the Shire.
